Our public tooling shows the working knowledge: a client-side HL7 v2 parser that labels MSH/PID/PV1/OBR/OBX fields without ever uploading PHI, and a FHIR R4 resource viewer that validates structure and flattens field paths.

Health data demands privacy by construction: PHI stays scoped, access is logged, and processing is documented. We design for GDPR Article 9 sensitivity — and for the HIPAA-shaped requirements international clients bring — rather than bolting compliance on afterward.

Both — that is the realistic posture. v2 still powers intra-hospital messaging (ADT, ORU, ORM) and interface engines, while FHIR is the standard for new APIs and national access rules. We build integration layers that translate between them.
Is the platform GDPR-compliant?
We design for GDPR from the start — health data is Article 9 special-category data: scoped processing, encryption, access logs, DPIA-ready documentation. For non-EU clients we also design to HIPAA-shaped requirements.
